The relationship between Kylian Mbappe and Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain ‘has gone from cool to polar’ this season in a serious threat to the team’s harmony. Mbappe reportedly does not want the Brazilian in the side at all, while 30-year-old Neymar ‘has been left astonished by the influence the 23-year-old France striker has been given.’ That has especially been the case since PSG broke the bank to persuade Mbappe to snub Real Madrid and sign a contract extension over the summer.

Reports in France suggest Mbappe doesn’t understand why Neymar is in the PSG side, while the Brazilian is surprised at the influence his younger team-mate wields. L’Equipe report that the relationship between the two has deteriorated quickly since the start of the season. Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star Neymar was a major absentee for five-time world champions Brazil as they were forced to a 1-1 draw by hosts Ecuador in what was a Matchday 16 clashas far as the South American section of this year’s FIFAWorld Cup tournament on Qatari soil is concerned.

Brazil shot into an early lead through midfielder Casemiro. The Real Madrid star gave the Brazilians an early lead in the sixth minute and things got better for the visitors when Ecuador were reduced to ten men after the red card to their shot stopper, Alexander Dominguez. The Ecuador goalkeeper was sent off in the 15^th minute. The numerical advantage for the Brazilians lasted for just five minutes due to the red card to Tottenham Hotspur right-back Emerson Royal. Emerson was the first player booked during the game as he was already on a yellow card in the second minute. His dismissal was on 20 minutes for two yellow cards.

Brazilian superstar Neymar made his return from injury as Paris Saint Germain (PSG) sealed a 3-1 win over Nantes at home in the French Ligue 1 to consolidate their place at the top of the log. PSG had to play the final quarter of the game with ten men after the red card to goalkeeper KeylorNavas, but they were still able to score two late goals to win the game thanks to the brilliance of summer signing Lionel Messi.

Neymar missed the final World Cup 2022 qualifier at arch rivals Argentina last week due to a thigh problem. He was a big miss for Brazil who were able to secure a goalless draw to preserve their unbeaten run in the qualifiers from the South American region. Argentina and Brazil are the only unbeaten teams in the South American region ahead of the World Cup 2022 tournament in Qatar.

Bolivia striker Marcelo Moreno has extended his lead over Neymar in the race to finish as the highest goalscorer at the end of the latest World Cup qualifiers in the South American section. Moreno increased his lead over Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar after netting two goals in the defeat to hosts Uruguay in the last qualifier for Bolivia.

Moreno scored twice in the second half but it was not enough for the Bolivians who were beaten 4-2 by Uruguay in their rescheduled matchday six clash. Giorgian de Arrascaeta was the hero for the home team after he scored a brace. Arrascaeta was responsible for the first goal of the game on 15 minutes before Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde added a second goal shortly after the half hour mark. Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar was not spared by fans after pictures of him with a pot belly surfaced online earlier this week. The Brazilian international is presently on an extended holiday due to his participation in the Copa America tournament this summer.

Neymar was one of the stars of the Copa America tournament but he could not prevent his team from losing to arch rivals Argentina in the final. Neymar is the Brazilian national team talisman but he was largely kept quiet in the final which was decided by his PSG teammate, Angel Di Maria. The ex-Real Madrid, Manchester United and Benfica winger scored in the first half to hand Argentina the trophy via a 1-0 win.

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) attacker Neymar has set a new record for the most assists in the history of the Brazilian national team after he provided the winning goal for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro. Neymar played a big part for Brazil who came from behind to beat Colombia in their Group B encounter at the Copa America tournament.

The win over the Colombians ensured that the Brazilians maintained their perfect start to the Copa America tournament this summer. Brazil have won all their three games at the tournament being held on home soil and they are the overwhelming favourites to pick up another win in their final group match against Ecuador later this weekend.

Brazilian international Neymar came off the bench to lead defending champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) into the French Cup final at the expense of Montpellier. PSG needed penalties to see off their opponents after the two teams shared a four-goal salvo.

Neymar came on for Italian national team right-back Alessandro Florenzi as manager Mauricio Pochettino tried to win the game after a late equaliser against his team.

The speculation surrounding the future of Brazilian superstar Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain may not end and is one of the longest transfer sagas in football history. The winger has constantly been linked with a return to Barcelona where he joined Paris Saint-Germain from, and it’s not looking like those rumors will be fading away anytime soon.

Neymar left Barcelona some years ago and said he wanted to go to a team where he would be able to establish himself as the club’s most important player after he declared that he no longer wanted to be under the shadow of Lionel Messi at Barca. With the latest injury to Brazilian sensation Neymar, it is becoming apparent that he might never fulfil his potential. The 27-year old was supposed to lead his national team to end their winless streak against Nigeria but within minutes he limped off, frustrated with another hamstring concern.

Paris St-Germain has confirmed that Neymar would be out for a month, extending his off-action time. This setback means Neymar might sit out up to six games, including crucial Champions League games. The last 18 months has seen Neymar miss lot of games, struggle to pay off investments in him, lose out in competition for the world’s best players, amongst others.
